Downey Office:

SOFTWARE DEVELOPER (Software engineering: Large commercial-institutional database management solutions).

Working in collegial group of software engineers, programmers, and other I.T. professionals engaged in large-scale institutional and commercial projects, takes coordinating role in design of overall conceptual framework, architecture, algorithms to be employed, and sequential logical steps, functional descriptions by individual module, and performance parameters and standards. Distributes programming tasks among team members. Determines the use of various combinations of programming languages, software programming tools, and computer protocols to be utilized, among them (depending on nature of project) HTML, XML, Java, .NET, ASP and SQL, and others as needed to enable programmers to perform coding, testing and correction functions. Reviews the programming work of teams and individual programmers: Performs necessary coding modifications; determines adequacy of testing procedures; revises or improves module documentation. Performs critical role in integration of various modules into seamless system until judged to be ready for implementation. Documents steps in program development. Reviews and approves instructions for use by ultimate operators. Prescribes processes whereby new software solutions are integrated into client’s existing systems. Provides continuing service as technical liaison between client’s IT personnel, clinical/medical management, and ASSIGNCORP: Based on client input, develops program improvements, such as user-friendly innovations, time- or step-saving alterations.

Requirements:

MS Computer Science or Computer Engineering
Min 1 year in Job Offered or Other large-scale institutional programming
Skillset: HTML, XML, Java, SQL
